Laana is free and stays free. No subscription, no ads, no data sales. There are no server bills to pay, but building an app and keeping it in two stores does cost money and time. A donation helps with that.

Why donations and not a subscription
A privacy app that makes money from data is a contradiction. A privacy app behind a paywall shuts out exactly the people who need it most. So: free, funded by those who can spare it.
Donating is entirely voluntary and unlocks nothing. If a donation unlocked a feature it would just be a paywall with a friendlier name.

How to donate
This website takes one-off or recurring donations. The app itself has a tip jar, which runs through the App Store or Google Play.
The donation links appear here once they are live. Until then, an honest review or good feedback helps just as much.
