Terms of use
Short, readable terms for using the Laana app and this website.

The service
Laana is an app by aiMattie for capturing and recalling personal notes. The app is free. There is no subscription, no trial and no feature behind a paywall.
No account
Laana has no account, no sign-up and no sign-in. So there is nothing to cancel, and nothing we can block or restore. Your notes sit on your own phone and are yours.
What you may not do
- Use the app for anything unlawful or that infringes others' rights.
- Attack the app or this website, or attempt to bypass its security.
Tips
The app contains a voluntary tip jar. A tip unlocks no feature and grants no support priority. Purchases run through the App Store or Google Play and fall under their refund policies.
Availability
- The app works without a network and without us. If this website goes down, your app keeps working.
- There are no usage limits, because there is no service on our side for you to overload.
- Your storage limit is the free space on your own phone.
Liability
The app is provided as is. We are not liable for data loss: your notes exist only on your own device, we hold no copy, and we technically cannot undo a lost phone, a missing export or a deletion you perform yourself. Make an export regularly and keep it somewhere other than your phone.
Answers from the AI feature can be wrong. Do not use them as medical, legal or financial advice.
Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Termination
You stop by removing the app, which erases your notes. We need do nothing for that, and could not anyway — there is no account to close.
Governing law
Dutch law applies to these terms. Laana is published by aiMattie; questions go to [email protected].
